Die Projekte Schimmer von Harald Wawrzyniak und Intentional Blur von Martín Guevara Kunerth untersuchen unterschiedliche Aspekte fotografischer Wahrnehmung: Schimmer zeigt, wie künstlerisches Sehen im fortwährenden Registrieren visueller Reize verankert ist, Intentional Blur erkundet die ästhetischen Möglichkeiten der Unschärfe. In der Gegenüberstellung treten beide Positionen in einen Dialog, der über die Einzelwerke hinausweist.
Beide lösen sich vom Primat des Gegenständlichen – Farbe, Licht und Form treten in den Vordergrund. In ihrem Zusammenspiel werden diese so verschränkt, dass aus den spezifischen Bildsprachen eine neue, eigenständige Arbeit entsteht.

The projects Schimmer by Harald Wawrzyniak and Intentional Blur by Martín Guevara Kunerth explore different aspects of photographic perception: Schimmer examines how artistic vision is rooted in the continuous registration of visual stimuli, while Intentional Blur explores the aesthetic potential of blur. When brought together, the two artistic positions enter into a dialogue that extends beyond the individual works.
Both move away from the primacy of representation – colour, light, and form come to the foreground. In their interplay, these elements are brought into relation in such a way that the distinct visual languages give rise to a new, autonomous work.
